REVENUE MANAGEMENT & LOSS PREVENTION
Utiliflex helps utilities around the world solve revenue and overhead management challenges and maximize profitability with prepaid electricity solutions. Our self-service automation, messaging automation, and payment automation solutions allow our customers to minimize overhead, interaction and disconnection costs, and theft. Utiliflex Revenue Management and Loss Prevention solutions are designed to operate on your existing AMI infrastructure.

Billing API
The Utiliflex Billing API allows utilities to easily embed our prepayment solution into any commercial billing system. Embedding our prepayment solution through our Billing API allows your existing billing system to serve as the system of record for all prepayment activity.
Payment API
The Utiliflex Payment API allows utilities to easily add customer payment options from any third-party service provider. Our Payment API allows you to collect payments through any retail location, mobile phone, or web enabled device.
MDMS API
The Utiliflex MDMS API allows utilities to easily interface with existing metering data management systems. Our MDMS API separates prepayment from metering; allowing utilities to capitalize on existing metering infrastructure while future proofing long term plans.
Arrears Recovery
The UtiliFlex Arrears Recovery Module allows utilities to dedicate a percentage of every purchase toward past due balances.
Text Messaging (SMS)
Consumers can use the SMS systems in two ways. They can elect to receive text message notifications from the utility concerning low balances, pending disconnections and purchase receipts. Additionally, the consumer can request balance information and redeem scratch cards.
Interactive Voice Response (IVR)
The UtiliFlex Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system gives consumers a convenient way to be alerted of low balance conditions and pending disconnections. Consumers can also dial in to get account balance information and make payments.
Consumer Account Software
Prepayment allows the consumer to take control of their electricity costs. The consumer decides when to purchase power, with the UtiliFlex system providing information on usage and account balance. By providing multiple options for where and how to buy, the consumer has more flexibility to manage their costs. The consumer takes responsibility for maintaining their balance and, if disconnected, has the ability to reconnect their electric service by simply making a payment.
Customer Web Portal
Consumers can access account information through a secure web portal. Functions include the ability to check balances, purchase power, set alert notifications, view usage and purchase history.
Kiosk Payment Stations
Secure kiosks allow consumers to purchase power at convenient locations with extended hours of operations. These devices can take cash and credit card transactions, and the third-party merchants, such as convenience and grocery stores, appreciate the increased customer traffic to their locations.
Point-of-Sale Devices
In addition to free-standing kiosks, third-party merchants can utilize point-of-sale devices to accept payments from customers. Easy-to-use touch-screen devices make transactions simple and secure.
Scratch Cards
Utilities can elect to offer scratch cards as a method of making a purchase. These cards can be resold by third-party merchants and can be distributed by charitable organizations.
